Ensina Brasil is a non-profit organization that recruits, selects and develops young talent to become public school teachers in vulnerable contexts for at least 2 years and develop themselves as future leaders, multiplying their impact for the transformation of education and the country. As of 2022, the organizations has a network of +600 participants, with around 340 teachers (“Ensinas”) working in 16 municipalities in 5 states and impacting more than 90,000 students. Ensina Brasil is a member of the global Teach For All network that has a presence in 60 countries.

“Millions of children do not reach their potential because they lack opportunities, reinforcing the cycle of poverty and inequality in Brazil. We need people who are diverse, capable, and obsessed with solving this problem. We are committed to developing these leaders. We started at the level of public schools, acting from day one, together with the communities, in order to expand the opportunities of the students who are there today. Based on this experience, we promote the development and commitment needed to lead transformations in depth and at scale, until all children attain a quality education".
